BGMD Club
BGMD Club is the virtual after-school extension of Black Girl Magic Day, created to uplift, inspire, and empower girls through creativity, mentorship, confidence-building, and community.
What It Is
BGMD Club is a safe and supportive virtual space for girls to learn, create, connect, and grow. It extends the mission of Black Girl Magic Day beyond the annual event through creative learning experiences and community engagement.
How the Pilot Works
- Virtual sessions on Saturdays during the pilot program
- Ages 6–8: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Ages 9–11: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Ages 12–15: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- This pilot helps us strengthen and expand the full program
Pilot Enrollment
- Limited to 12 girls
- Ages 13–15 may participate independently
- Ages 6–12 may participate with a parent present
- Families on the waitlist will receive priority program updates
Why We Created BGMD Club
Black Girl Magic Day was created to celebrate girls and remind them that their voices matter, their ideas are powerful, and their future is bright. BGMD Club continues that mission by creating an ongoing virtual space where girls can explore creativity, build confidence, and grow in a supportive community.
